3rd Annual 30 Day Photo Challenge ~ Day 17 ~ Action

These are some of my favorite shots in the challenge because it takes a bit of practice to get good at taking them. If you are using a digital camera with programmed settings, the action setting is usually marked with a person running. It opens and closes the shutter faster so the moving target isn't as blurry, but does that at the cost of letting less light in - so this works the best in bright light.

Remember to focus on the moving object or person, not anything else in the background. Some cameras come with a setting that takes several shots a second - try playing around with that to see what you can capture.

Fortunately for me, my kids never stop moving, so I get a lot of practice.
