5 Boko Haram Camps Retaken by Army

The army’s aggressive action on the Boko Haram insurgents yielded retakes of five strongholds which were previously manned by the radical Muslim group.
New Marte, Chikun Ngulalo, Wulgo, Krenoa and Hausari are the five camps which the military seized.
Earlier, Boko Haram took over nearby regions which made local officials flee for their safety. Boko Haram even stripped off the Nigerian flag.
The military has taken control of the situation and assured locals their safety and freedom from the harassment brought about by Boko Haram.
