Things That Piss Me Off Tuesday - the lying, cheating, stealing edition

I'm in a mood y'all.  Just so you know.

It's not even 10:00 AM, and it's been a day already.  I shouldn't complain too much, not after the day a friend of mine had yesterday.  Perspective is a mother effer sometimes.

Here goes nothing.

Money that just goes missing
Really?  That envelope of money that I ensured was delivered to the person it was supposed to be on the day it was due months ago, that I watched change hands, just disappeared?  Then all this time later, it's supposed to be my problem.  Really???

No fucking way.

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, honest.  I know that sometimes life gets complicated and things get mixed up or forgotten, but things like this don't just happen.  This wasn't an oops or an oversight.  This was intentional.  And someone just pissed off the wrong bitch.

I'll refrain from saying more because I'm trying to keep my damn mouth shut and my anger under control.  I'm going to chip ice off my driveway later today because it makes me feel better when I take my aggression out on inanimate objects.

The Borrowers
Okay, so that's not even really an accurate description.  They aren't borrowers, they are thieves.  I've had a copycat for a few months now, and this morning some of my blogger friends discovered they had one too.  

Here's the thing, wannabes of the world: 


I am not going to name names here because I'm not about that.  I don't want pages harassed, and I'm quite confident that the other bloggers involved will take care of this all on their own. For the record, both of them have bigger balls than I do, so these copiers really chose the wrong people to mess with. 

When stuff like this goes down, someone always brings up the quote about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery.  There is a fundamental difference between imitation, being inspired and trying to come up with something similar and just flat out stealing. 

Don't be an asshole.

My Dog
Normally, the cat is the one who pisses me off.  Lately, though, it's been the dog.  He seems to have decided in the last few months that whatever is in the trash is better than whatever dog food is in his bowl.

Most of the time, there's something in there that he just couldn't resist.  Bacon wrappers are his most favorite thing, and I can't really say that I blame him for that.  Who doesn't love bacon, right?

Yesterday, in the time it took me to run to school and back, he'd up ended the trash can for the second time of the day.  There was nothing in the trash can but coffee grounds and a used pull-up that the boy slept in the night before.  Really, dog???? 

Bacon, I understand.  Now you're just being ridiculous.

Days like today
This isn't really something that pisses me off, but today is one of those days that resides on the calendar that never just passes without some tears and some sadness. 

A reminder of what could have been, what was for a little while.  A day for imagining how different the world might be. 


It's hard to believe it has been 13 years. 

Still hurts.
