So, it's Sunday and I have a lot to catch up on. I got tagged in this random 20 questions post by A Mother Life, and tried to stomp my feet and walk away.
Then she was all like, but I want to know more about you....and I was like, fiiiiiiiine. Gosh.
When did your last hug take place?
A few minutes ago, when the four year old ordered me back to bed for snuggle time. He gets antsy if he doesn't get a designated amount of solo mama time a day. I can't say I mind.
Are you a jealous person?
I want to think I'm not, but I know that's not true. And, really, the only way that was ever tested was for it to be really tested. Are you tired right now?
Usually. I'm fighting with my insomnia something fierce right about now.
Do you chew on your straws?
No. I'm actually not usually a straw user.
Have you ever been awake for 48 hours straight?
A few times. The most fun times have been when I was with a mom in labor though. :)
Do you cry easily?
Depends. I'm tough most of the time, but cry like a baby at others.
What should you be doing right now?
Cleaning. Yes, I should be cleaning.
Are you a heavy sleeper?
Rarely, but mostly between 5-7am.
Are you mad at someone right now?
No. Frustrated and disappointed, but not angry.
Do you believe in love?
I have to, or a lot of things wouldn't make sense.
What makes you laugh no matter what?
My crazy four year old.
Who was the last person you talked to?
I'm talking to Near Genius right now, actually. I multitask like a boss.
When was the last time you smiled?
Last night.
Does anyone like you?
I want to believe they do, I guess. I have some kickass fans, and I'm guessing they don't stick around because they hate me. My kids have to like me, it's required. My husband seems to like me most of the time. I have friends that I haven't scared away yet.
Do you secretly like someone?
Well, I like my husband, but that's not a secret. I have developed a crush on Colin Kaepernick though....
Who was the first person you talked to today?
My daughter.
Who do you feel most comfortable talking to about anything?
That's a loaded question. I have a handful of friends who know everything about me.
What are you NOT looking forward to?
My son going to kindergarten next year. I'm a nervous wreck about his blood sugar issues, and terrified of putting him in someone else's hands.
What ARE you looking forward to?
Seeing my brother and his family this summer.
Are you a forgiving person?
Obviously.
How many TRUE friends do you have?
Not as many as I used to think I did, but more than a couple.
Do you fall for people easily?
Nope. I am probably one of the most jaded and cynical people you'll meet. I have a very good instinct when it comes to figuring people out the first time I meet them, and have only been burned when I haven't listened to it.
What’s the last thing you put in your mouth?
Coffee.
Who was the last person you drove with?
All my kids, plus a bonus after picking up from wrestling practice. Madonna came on the radio, I sang along. They were horrified. It was magnificent.
How late did you stay up last night and why?
Went to bed at 1 am, no idea when I actually fell asleep. We were playing with the music channels on the satellite.
If you could move somewhere else, would you?
I would love to move back to Southern California, but I'm suddenly deeply intrigued by parts of the country I have never even visited, like Michigan and Virginia.
Who was the last person you took a picture of?
That crazy four year old. Watching American Ninja Warrior, he was annoyed that I was interrupting his program.
Can you live a day without TV?
Yes, I do it all the time.
When was the last time you were extremely disappointed?
Last night.

What is your all-time favorite romance movie?
I'm going to guess Kill Bill doesn't count? I don't really like romance movies. Never have.
Do you believe that everyone has a soul-mate?
No. Used to.
What’s your current problem?
Just one? Hmmmm....I need to finish the laundry but have no motivation. Does anyone know where I can get that? I'm sick of cleaning the house six times a day, just to have someone come right behind me and mess it up.
Have you ever had your heart broken?
Yep.

I need to thank some of my favorite bloggers for the awards they have given me in the last few weeks as well. I'm not good at following directions, and I already answered a bunch of questions, so forgive me for my bloggy award bad manners and go say hi to them, okay?
Up first, a lady that I just adore, It's a Dome Life. She invented some new awards this past week, and I was honored with the Generous Blogger Award. It comes with a piece of her gorgeous artwork, and I love her.
I got another brand new shiny award from The Momisodes! She gave me the Epically Awesome Award of Epic Awesomeness, which is, as you guessed, epically awesome.
The Musings of Munch gave me an award, but I'm pretty sure he was just doing it to get back at me for that time I made him write. When he gave me the Liebster Award, he cautioned me not to mention his name, so imma do it twice. Musings of Munch. Neener, neener.
And, last but certainly not least, The Insomniac's Dream. She is one of the most naturally gifted writers I've ever come across, and she gave me the Inspiring Blog Award.
